Moral of the Story: You don’t have to be loud or powerful to be special. Sometimes, bringing a little bit of magic and imagination to the world is the greatest gift of all.

The soft, green grass tickled Lily’s ears as she gazed up at the infinite sky. The blue above was so bright it almost made her eyes sting, but she couldn’t look away from that one lonely little cotton ball floating high above.
The Fear of Thunder
High up there, separate from the heavy, grey storm clouds, floated a tiny white cloud—small and a bit lopsided. “Kaboom!” thundered a giant cloud nearby, letting go of thick, cold drops that smelled like a storm.
The tiny white cloud shivered. It tried to puff itself up, tried to turn dark and scary. It squeezed its vapor edges with all its might, hmmm. “Poof.” The only sound that came out was a sigh, as light as a breath on a dandelion.
Painting Dreams in the Sky
Lily giggled, but she stopped when she saw how sad the little cloud looked. “Hey!” the girl shouted, waving her arms. “You don’t need to turn grey! What can you do?”
The little cloud thought for a moment, and suddenly, it turned into a giant bunny with long, pointy ears! Lily clapped her hands: “Beautiful! Do another one!”
The cloud cheered up. It twirled in the air and became a castle, then a toothless dragon, and then a plump little heart. While the rain fell far away, right there in the garden, the tiny white cloud brought cool shade and stories painted in the air.
Lily closed her eyes, feeling the breeze on her face. She understood that the world needs the rain, but it also needs those who know how to paint dreams across the bright blue sky.
